Focus on Notes
So I'm not sure exactly where this is going to go. I've been reading about different knowledge development strategies and I'm in the process of feeling some things out to try and expand my knowledge. Right now, I read some impactful book, I try to learn some basic ideas from it, and probably 90+% of what the book/article had to contribute fades away after a period of time. I want to implement something that will allow me to retain a much more significant chunk of what I read, so that I can start building on it instead of losing it.
If successful, my hope is that I can start building interest in my piggy bank.
I think I had started mentioning this in my last post, but I've started building out some basic structure to hang my efforts on to begin with. I think that what ends up on the site will probably be basic until I figure out the best ways to use and display the meta data I am thinking about collecting.
I should probably mention, this is a personal project. While I'm going to post what I'm doing publically, this is really about my own personal development. I'm going to try and use clear and simple language, but that is for my ends, not the comprehension of an outsider.
Now I do hope that these efforts result in posts or articles that are more for public consumption, but that will be more of a much longer term result of this process if at all.
For right now, this is an effort to build out a good personal system that allows me to be more effective.
